The year they closed down our schools

In memory of 5 years ago when our Governor shut down the schools in our state "2 weeks to flatten the curve" that turned into 3 months.  I worked harder in those three months at home to video each day and give parents ideas and activities to keep these little ones entertained and still learning.  I still can't believe that we all had to go along with such a drastic measure.  Children were affected in ways that adults could not even predict...they still are.  These little ones learned things they should have never be exposed to in their young years because of the fear of adults who lost all common sense and problem solving.  I look back at pictures of how people acted and it makes me sick to my stomach.  Now...five years later...the truth is coming out about the evil, lying, fear, and control.

We made the best of the crazy chaos of our world.  I pray that these hearts heard the truth shared in the countless hours of video, emails, and texts that I shared with their parents.  As we came to the end of the school year with no special K5 program and graduation, I got creative and wrote a little program I wrote for them.  Their parents sent me pictures..."If you give a child a backpack..."
