How many ways can you make something fun in a day? How about adding some feathers to a normal bird picture?
How about a fun experiment as you read in your Science books about taste?
How about practicing words on little chalkboards with colored chalk?

How about practice copying from the board? A fun way to get the students to start writing sentences on their own by giving them a beginning to the sentence and let them finish. When they finish, draw a picture to match what they wrote about!
