We did not get to celebrate Father's Day in our school, as we get out in May. But each year, I invited Dads to come during morning drop-off on their way to work for Donuts with Dad. I had good coffee ready and waiting and a variety of donuts. When all students had arrived by 8:15am, we paused and put on a little program for our Dads to say "Thank You!". We sang a song, said a verse passage, and quoted this little poem. The students gave Dads a big hug and they were off for their day...hopefully, encouraged and appreciated!
