Take time to make a fun poster of yourself for your students, parents, and friends to learn about you as a person! In order for you to be a good teacher, you need to build relationships and that comes about by sharing who you are. Choose what you want to share and do it in a fun way. I found this idea on Pinterest years ago and it was an easy poster to update each year. Work to build relationships with your students...to show them you are "a real person" who does not live at school all the time! At the beginning of the year, give your students have a chance to share their favorites and likes/dislikes.
