For several years, we did a big gathering for our grandparents in our pre-school department. These pictures are from my first year in Kindergarten. Several of my little friends had different names for their grandparents, so I wrote a special poem for them to say. We quoted a verse and sang a song.
We got to have grandparents come to our classroom for a special craft and visit.
Another year...My class made butterflies to add to the tables for decoration. So bright and cheery!
This was the year we had to have the program in the gym because part of our building did not have electricity and heat. Our class sang about "Think About the Good Things" and quoted Philippians 4:4-8.
Snacks and time to visit are always a fun time on these special days!
