I kept Valentimes day simple and sweet in K5! We decorated bags for art time using various supplies I had on hand. I would teach the class how to fold a piece of paper in half and cut out hearts.
A favorite party treat...and easy for this day...ice cream sundaes with various topping choices. Valentines Day always comes right after our big spirit week that had lots of activity, costumes, and treats. So I came up with a fun treat option that was different.
We continue with our daily lesson plans and add everything hearts for practice and review.
We played fun games and ran in the gym. We read valentine stories.
