We came back from recess to have a special snack for April Fool's Day. "I made you brown es!" The looks on their faces as I walked around with the pan encouraging them to take a "special brown e!"
Some children understood the pun and could not wait to take it home "for my Dad!" Others stared not sure what to do. I do not joke about food...especially sweets...so I brought out the pan of freshly baked brownies and smiles came out in force. "That is the funniest joke ever!"
