I went searching for fun activities for April Fool's Day on pinterest. This was a cute idea and now I cannot find who posted it. Midwest winters are long. Spring days are highly anticipated. We put on our jackets and went in search of the Elusive Lirpaloof Bird. So much fun and no lies were told, but there was much talk and imagination by my little friends! I left the "carrot bait" on my counter the morning of...so I improvised and quick made some paper carrots. One of my friends told me he was pretty sure the bird was not tricked by the carrots because "they smelled like paper!"
