There are so many ways to get learn about the world around you! Get your students to use their hands to touch/feel/experience how the world works. In a world of technology and screens, children have lost the skill of play! Don't be a lazy teacher. Find a variety of things to use each day in the classroom to promote wonder and practice. Walk through your home...look for your childhood favorites stored away, your kitchen pantry, your child's toybox, talk to experienced teachers, and learn from pre-school teachers. Big kids need the interaction as well! Ask yourself daily, "How many different senses can I get my students to involve today as we learn?"
