Sooooo much practice...

but it always pays off!  This particular year, my friend was teaching 1st and 2nd grade and she asked how she could help me.  We used her good readers to help us practice and learn our lines for our program.  I was so proud of all the students!  Watching the older students help the younger students by taking ownership of "this most important job as we prepare for Kindergarten graduation", knowing they had done it the year before and had done it well.

It is always a big deal to practice putting on the caps and gowns and then going into the auditorium to practice on "the big stage"!  Watching them learn and grow all year and then take on this exciting part always makes me teary.  They change so much in the nine months they spend with me in K5!  I am always so proud of them.  I hope their parents see it too!
