I got to observe one of my teacher friends. I love how she started the lesson...and got the students out of their chairs for a little bit! The students interacted well with her questions, reading the book, and then sharing what they heard. It was a reminder to me to connect thoughts with pictures and words for beginning learners. They then went back to their desks and read from their Science books about many types of weather. And today (April 5...opening day for the Detroit Tigers), we woke up to snow!
