Using dice to add

We used the large classroom dice to learn how to do this activity together.  Take the number on one dice and add it to the second dice to find out the total.  We also used them to "build" a number when we were practicing number family recognition.  Then we all got two dice to roll and count and tell.  I set them out for individual or partner practice.
